Garrett McKinniss, from Oak Hill, Ohio, is a Psychology student at The Ohio State University. Passionate about community engagement and making a lasting impact on others, he leads Southern Ohio Soles' outreach events and community initiatives, connecting the organization directly with the students it serves. He is also spearheading a research project examining the organization's impact on child development in Appalachian Ohio, translating that work into resources for donors and partners. Drawing on his background in leadership, coaching, and behavioral psychology, Garrett ensures Southern Ohio Soles continues to grow its reach and deepen its impact across the region.
